The AR Goals For Fifth Grade!!!!
Dear Parents,
This year our school will continue with the AR Program . Students will be able to read books that are of interest to them and at the same time earn points to meet the goal for each quarter. The books will be at a level in which students will understand and at the same time be challenged a little.
The goal for each quarter will be 20 points. Once students have reached their goal, they will receive a certificate of completion . The AR goal is worth 15% of their Reading grade. Do encourage your children to read every day. This will help improve their vocabulary skills and comprehension. The most important thing will be to instill in the children the love of reading.
